Boxing is takes place on Tuesdays 18:30 to 19:30. Fridays 18:30 to 19:30 we have padwork with Sensei Ishmaeel, who focuses on each member to improve technique and power in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay thai. Saturdays we have Boxing 11am to 12pm. A member may participate in any three sessions per week.

The difference between Kickboxing and Muay thai is that in Muay thai one makes use of knees and elbows. Muay thai on Mondays 18:30 to 19:30. Fridays 18:30 to 19:30 we have padwork with Sensei Ishmaeel, who focuses on each member to improve technique and power in Boxing, Kickboxing, and Muay thai.
Jiujitsu is the art of dominating your opponent using leverage and technique. This martial art is very useful in self-defence and mixed martial arts by submitting one’s opponent in chokeholds and joint locks. Our Jiujitsu classes take place on Thursdays 18:30 to 19:30, and Saturdays 12pm to 13:00.
Coach Hayden leads our Wrestling class, which focuses on opponent take-downs and dominating your opponent for MMA. It is also a very useful art for self-defence. Wrestling allows one to get their opponent to the ground in order to submit their opponent using Jiujitsu techniques. Wrestling takes place every Friday 19:30 to 20:30. Coach Hayden charges R50 per session.
MIXED MARTIAL ARTS
Our Mixed Martial Arts package includes Boxing, Kickboxing, Muay thai, MMA, and Jiujitsu. Members may participate in any five sessions per week according to the gym timetable.
FIGHTER DEVELOPMENT & MANAGEMENT
Head Coach Fidaah Edries manages two of our EFC fighters as well as our other local fighters. He focuses on physical technique coaching, as well as mental training in preparation for fights and tournaments. Sensei Fidaah is a Black Belt in Kickboxing and also a registered Counsellor.
PEAK PERFORMANCE PROGRAMME
MOMS FITNESS & TONING
This class focuses on fitness and toning for the busy moms interested in weight loss and keeping fit. Coach Terence leads this class and centres his sessions around stamina building and muscle toning. This class takes place twice a week on Tuesdays and Thursdays 10am to 11am.
LADIES-ONLY BOXING & SELF-DEFENSE
Ladies-Only class takes place once a week every Friday 17:30 to 18:30. This class is strictly only for ladies, and is also led by a female coach, Coach Fouzia. Coach Fouzia focuses on Boxing, Self-defence, fitness and muscle toning. This class is made very private, especially for modest Islamic women in Niqab and Hijab. The gym is door is locked during this class to allow for privacy.
HIIT FUNCTIONAL WEIGHT FITNESS
High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) focuses on muscle development and strength building for martial arts and sports conditioning. In this class members circulate to various stations which focus on different areas of the body using weights. This class is well suited for members interested in gaining weight in muscle and improving strength and stamina. HIIT takes place on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 19:30 to 20:30.
KIDS MMA & ANTI-BULLYING
We offer two packages for the Kids MMA and Anti-Bullying classes. There are the three classes per week package and the Saturday-only package. The classes take place on Mondays and Wednesdays 16:30 to 17:30, as well as Saturdays 10am to 11am. Sensei Ishmaeel leads this class and focuses on Mixed Martial Arts techniques for self-defence and Anti-Bullying. This class teaches kids discipline and respect for team members and Sensei.
COUNSELLING & LIFE COACHING
Our in-house counsellor Fidaah Edries is registered with the HPCSA. He focuses on counselling, if you need someone to talk to, have depression, going through a divorce or have anxiety. He also offers Life Coaching, if you need help finding your direction in life, your purpose, your personal growth, or finding your meaning or balance.

Our in-house Herbalife coach, Fouzia Roberts offers free wellness assessments and nutrition counselling with the sale of Herbalife products. Herbalife is useful for those interested in improving general nutrition, improving energy, weight loss and muscle development for athletes. Fouzia offers weigh-ins weekly and nutritional counselling to help you achieve your specific wellness goals.
